Blue Moon
This panel was designed and fabricated by Chris Goodman. It is cast glass - for the moon - glazed into a 24" x 24" stained glass panel with a black wooden frame. The glass surrounding the blue moon is a combination of antique glass and faceted dalle de verre chunks depicting the stars. Cast pieces are unique and usually take 1 week to create after the initial design. Three molds are created before the final glass is cast over the 3rd plaster mold and spends many hours in the kiln that is necessary to keep to glass stable after firing.
